Jeshua Navaraj

I am a final semester candidate for the Masters in Public Health Programme in University Malaya during which I have taken part and led in webinars, seminars as well as advocacy campaigns. As a postgraduate student, I led a press conference in my university campus to caution the government against removing liquid or gel Nicotine from the Poison Act of 1952 due to its detrimental effects onto public health. In addition to this, I have also represented my university to a virtual World Health Organization forum as well as the APRU Model United Nations simulation where I took on the role to represent the Republic of India against western nations in debating the carbon footprint and its effect onto global health. I believe these experiences will be mutually beneficial to the participants joining my seminar, workshops and training sessions.
