The word that best describes me as a trainer and workshop facilitator is "edutainer." I have been developing, designing, implementing, delivering, facilitating, and evaluating in-person and classroom training, workshops, and more for internal and external audiences for over three decades in corporate, nonprofit, and government roles at various levels of leadership as an employee as well as in internal and external consultant roles. I first began delivering these types of services in virtual environments in 1996. I intermittently provided training through government contracts between 1998 and 2002 as a consultant and internal employee from 2010 to 2018. I have been a member of the Association for Talent Development (ATD) since 2009, and I currently provide coaching, mentoring, and training in paid capacities and volunteer roles with the Founder Institute, Braven, and other organizations. My extensive experience includes the complete life cycle of training, workshop facilitation, delivery, and instructional design in leadership, technical, and "soft skills." I typically design and deliver using ADDIE (assess, develop, design, implement, evaluate) methodologies and different adult learning methods, including training modules, presentations, exercises, computer-based training (CBT), bulletins, Webinars, and related needs assessments and evaluations. My feedback scores have varied over the years but consistently range between seven to ten out of ten points.
