What is the difference between a language teacher and a language coach? Although some aspects of traditional language teaching may concentrate on the building of vocabulary and grammar skills as well as the syntax of the language, I also focus on the way the English language is spoken for you to be a more effective presenter. Thanks to my background in theatre skills and acting I will show you how to not only develop your speech and delivery but also develop the language specific to you and the sector you work in or would like to work in. By concentrating on your specific requirements in your current professional life or your future goals, we can work on the language you need. This is a fast-track approach which will ultimately save you time and money. My methods are completely student-centred, I listen to you and your needs and don`t try to force any particular type of teaching style or doctrine on you or your learning. Everybody learns differently. After an initial free one-on-one online assessment, we can build a tailor-made learning plan together based on your schedule, your present English level and future goals. Confidence is key to everything in life but especially language learning. My primary objective is to make you feel comfortable to speak and express yourself, to do this you must feel confident to make mistakes! Once that fear is overcome you will see your learning accelerate, as do all my students and participants. In my work environment I teach the language of law and economics and have translated and proofread documents and books ranging from French academic texts to contracts and legal documents. I also help develop thesis and report writing skills and PPT presentations as part of my daily routine.
