Veronica is the founder of VLM Coaching & Consulting Service, LLC., where she operates as an Executive Leadership Coach and Corporate Trainer. In this capacity, she empowers leaders to use Emotional Intelligence to become comfortable with the uncomfortable aspects of leadership like feedback, conflict, performance enablement, and employee engagement. She has created a signature leadership development program that includes both training and coaching in order to create leaders who employees want to work for. Other leadership facilitation includes topics on emotional intelligence, inclusion, new leader training trust building and employee engagement. Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, Veronica served as an HR Executive in the public and private sector for various organizations. A significant part of Veronica’s training and facilitation focus is Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Accessibility, Belonging and Justice. Veronica received a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace certificate from the University of Southern Florida’s School of Corporate Training and Professional Education. Additionally, for the last 3 years she has served as the DEIBA Instructor for ICLI, the International Coaching & Leadership Institute, which is an ICF credentialed coach training program. Through 27 years as an HR practitioner, Veronica has served as the DEI expert for her employers, coaching and educating organizations and leaders on the practices and principles of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Belonging, Accessibility and Justice. She was instrumental in improving DEI outcomes for those organizations and championing DEI strategies for individuals including helping training participants understand unconscious and implicit bias, as well as identity intersectionality. Other DEI work for Veronica includes facilitating listening circles for organizations and facilitating The Inclusive Leader training, under her brand, which educates leaders on the principles of DEI and challenges them to view their role as a leader through a more inclusive lens which will strengthen their leadership. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, cum laude, from Howard University as well as SPHR, SHRM-SCP, DISC certifications, 2 Coaching certifications, and a 360 Feedback Assessment certification. She has facilitated listening circles, Wellbeing, Mental Health, and DEI training for a wide variety of US domestic and international audiences. In 2022, her firm was voted one of the top 20 Leadership Development Coaching and Training organizations by Manage HR Magazine and she was voted one of the Top 15 Coaches in Washington, DC by Insight Digest in 2024.
